was founded in 1903, by master pastry chef Tiziano Golfetti who opened his first artisan workshop, dedicated to the Porta Borsari in Verona.

Numerous confectionery specialties were born from his expert hands, including first and foremost the typical soft and fragrant Pandoro, Panettoni and Colombe.

Faithful to the artisan tradition, which made those first products excellent, the Muzzi family, current owners of the Borsari company, continue to produce a thousand confectionery specialties, handing down passion and quality.

Not only “Borsari,”. In 2000 Muzzi bought IDB and Borsari and began a new adventure.

A crucial year was 2009, which saw the purchase of G. Cova & c. and La Torroni Bedetti.

Muzzi is therefore a multi-brand premium craftsmanship company, where the master craftsman’s touch continues to pamper the doughs day and night. Consider that the recipes for the Christmas season alone are over 200.

Costa Group stands by Borsari in the making of its pastries, with the philosophy that has always accompanied it, the exaltation of the product.

The Nebbia is a real speciality, an exquisite brioche pastry similar to “maritozzo” with a cream born by accident as a mixture of milk and vanilla, and is the undisputed queen of breakfasts and display.

Sacrifice, dedication to work and quality.

Costa Group stands by its side sharing these values.

Costa Group and Sophia Loren Milano

After a period of successful openings around the world, such as Eataly in London, Dallas, and Verona, Costa Group had the honor of participating in another major project: the Sophia Loren Milano restaurant.

The restaurant has already hosted several events and people from show business, but on October 10th the ribbon was cut by Sophia Loren herself, the muse behind the project.

In every corner of the restaurant you can see details or photographs dedicated to her; the goal is to pay tribute to one of the world’s most beloved and famous Italian actresses who successfully embodied Italian savoir-faire.

Francesco Martucci’s famous and award-winning pizza, Gennarino Esposito’s cuisine, and Carmine Di Donna’s pastries enhance the Italian culinary tradition, all in an original setting.

The venue bears the signature of Studio Redaelli Associati and the realization is Costa Group.

With this project, Costa Group has left, yet another awesome mark; the La Spezia-based company now boasts more than 30 venues in the nerve center of Milan, an area known for events, clubs and important fashion and luxury retail brands.

Cinema, art, music, these are just some of the cultural spheres that influence, guide and inspire Costa Group. The synergy with these worlds makes Costa Group not just a simple furniture atelier, but much more: a company rooted in the experience and contamination of all these worlds, continuously expanding its horizons and proudly carrying forward Made in Italy.
